We woke early for a picnic in Paris. We have found it is best to arrive in Paris around six am in order to find parking and have less foot traffic to navigate through.

First, we stopped by our new favorite Cafe in Paris,  the hospitality is generous. The delicious food is presented beautifully (almost as its own piece of art). The cherry jam is Danny’s favorite. There was noting but crumbs left from our Croisant’s.

Next, we found a market. Danny boy had made the shopping list all by himself. Our menu consisted of: Orange juice, blueberries, carrots, apples, and chips! Timothy found some jam and coffee we wanted to bring back with us to the states so we added that to our cart as well.

The site we picked for our picnic was a secluded area at the Eiffel Tower- Trocadero.

Danny enjoyed playing chase with his big sister , Bekah, and Miss Emmy. Throwing sticks in the water while watching the fish. Daddy and Danny boy toured the garden. Danny thought it was the most perfect picnic of all!

We went back to our hotel where we rested for the remainder of the day. I noticed that Danny aspirated trying to enjoy dinner with us. Within a few hours he had a fever and now a cough. He is asking for his suction machine. He seems to be doing okay. The rest did him good!

Tomorrow, Danny boy heads to Rome!

Until our next chat,
